You can delete your SailR account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)

Open SailR and go to Account.

Tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.

Confirm. Your account and profile data are removed right away.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us and we'll delete your account for you:

Send your request to admin@coastlinecreators.dev and include the name or email address you used in SailR so we can find your account. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account sign-in record (Google or anonymous identifier).
- Your stored profile information — name, email address, and profile photo.
- Your saved boats and their details.
What may be retained
- Historical race records. GPS tracks and results you shared in a race are part of that race's record and may remain visible within that race until its host or the app's clean-up removes it. On request, we will remove specific race tracks tied to you.
- On-device data. Licence photos and app preferences are stored only on your device — they are not on our servers and are removed by deleting them in the app or uninstalling SailR.
- Backups / legal. Residual copies may persist briefly in routine backups, and we may retain limited information where required by law.
